Born into a musical family, Michael got his start in music playing behind other family and friends as an electric bassist. The collective experience of music-making developed a passion for creating impactful, welcoming, and collaborative spaces. The process of identifying and nurturing that spark of inspiration in others became a key motivator in most of his endeavors.

A move to Raleigh, North Carolina afforded the opportunity to work with a wider variety of artists and genres, from Gospel to Country to Hard Rock, and everywhere in between. Developing that network offered the chance to move to Nashville and take that work further.

Michael has been honored to work with top universities throughout the southeast as a designer, and whether onstage or online, is most enthralled by getting to turn an idea into a reality for others to step into.
